Water will also leak into the Cyclops (this is only a visual effect). When hull breaches are present, the Cyclops loses health that can only be regenerated after the player repairs it. The hull can only be breached once the vessel has 80% or less of its health. However, it cannot be damaged by high temperatures, small predators, or collision with fauna. The Cyclops can be damaged from nearby hostile fauna or a fire inside the vessel.

you should have yourself your own giant submarine! If it says to construct it in deeper waters, pick up the Mobile Vehicle Bay from the bottom and move somewhere deeper. Once you have everything needed for it in your inventory, go to your Mobile Vehicle Bay. I will also list out all of the raw ingredients needed: To build this colossal submarine, you'll need. Once you get all three parts, you get the blueprints for the Cyclops itself.

The Mushroom Forest is the best place to look for fragments, but other biomes will work. However, there are three different blueprints needed and each one needs three fragments. There are 3 hull fragments, 3 engine fragments, and 3 bridge fragments.Ĭyclops fragments can be found all over deeper areas. Maybe that's the reason why this kinda stuff is so intriguing. Before you can construct the Cyclops you will need to scan all 9 fragments for it. I also might ask a dev if we don't figure it out cause I'm so so curious it's killing I saw those videos years ago and they gave me serious chills. My only problem with this theory is that I heard it in the floating islands when I hadn't even been there before, so it might just be wrecks on their own. The user didn't give any evidence or reasoning but if the sounds are similar it might be true.

I haven't compared the sound of the hole breaking through to the static noise but I'll see tonight. Apparently the door might be re-cut when the wreck is loaded and it makes this sound. I actually came across a thread on Reddit where someone said the sound happens when you load in a wreck that you used the laser cutter on. Ok I think this is getting close, I just need to do some testing. Don't know if that's actually what it's for, but they seem to be correlated and I've also been able to reproduce it in various areas. The large red grass wreck is right near several of the Jellyshroom cave entrances, and I also often hear it in the Mushroom Forest or DGR when those wrecks are nearby. Originally posted by Stealth Mode:I seem to have noticed that the sound effect you're talking about plays whenever a wreck loads into the game as you swim around.
